Welcome to Our Website
The Saint Isidore Parish Religion Education Program (PREP) welcomes you to our website. The site is to provide information about the program, resources at your fingertips, tools you can use, and detail our mission, and philosophy. We welcome all of our catechists, families in the program, and those thinking about registering for PREP. A Catholic education not a choice, but a right for our children. Our Religious Education program seeks to fulfill the catechetical and evangelical mission of the Church, in concert with the Philadelphia Archdiocese and Saint Isidore Parish.
Registration Begins
Registration for the 2012-2013 PREP classes has begun! Registration information and forms have been sent home with current students last week. Please check their folders! Registration forms are available online, at the PREP Office, and at Church soon. Forms and payments will be accepted between March 25th and August 30th. Classes will become unavailable once the maximum class size is reached. Discounts are available for PREP volunteers and those who register early. No PREP Classes
There will be no PREP classes on Wednesday, April 4th, and Sunday, February 8th, due to Holy Week and Easter. Remembering that Jesus died for our salvation, we hope everyone can find time to go to confession, Stations of the Cross, and Holy Week services. Have a blessed Easter!
Volunteer Requirements
All parish volunteers who have regular contact with children must fulfill the following requirements:
- Criminal Background Check
- Child Abuse Clearance
- Safe Environment Training Session: This will be held at St. Isidore School is Tuesday, October 18th, at 7:00pm (register online at www.virtus.org)
- Information & Communication Techonology Addendum: This 15-minute online training can be found at www.aoptraining.org and must be completed before September 5th.
- Mandatory Reporter Training: This will be held at St. Isidore School on Wednesday, September 21st, at 5:30pm OR 7:00pm. Register online at http://bit.ly/AOPMandatoryReporterTraining.
